City Hill Middle School
7th & 8th Grade
"Language is the road map of a culture. It tells where its people come from and where they are going." - Rita Mae Brown
I was born and raised in Levittown, Puerto Rico. We moved to the United States when I began the 4th grade. I was lucky to attend City Hill Middle School. City Hill is also the place I meet one of my influences to become a teacher, Ms. Sagendorf. I have had the privileged to work with her and call her my friend. Interestingly enough, I studied French in high school at my parents request. In college, I took the opportunity to study abroad in the Netherlands. Once I graduated college I was not satisfied in the field I had chosen and went back to school to receive my teaching degree in Spanish. As fate would have it I began my first 7 years of teaching at Naugatuck High School and then transferred to the middle school.
