What I Get To Do
My job as one of City Hill's social workers is to improve students' social and emotional well being so that they may achieve reasonable academic success and develop healthy relationships. This involves working with pupils individually, in small groups, or with an entire class of students. I actively engage parents to improve communications between school personnel and family members.

A few of my favorite things: I love spending time with my family, gardening, hiking and reading. During the past several years, I have developed an interest in learning and teaching about mindfulness. I have found it to be an effective technique that includes the benefits of sustained attention, awareness of feelings and controlled behaviors.
