Students and faculty,
A reminder that this is National Kindness Week at CHMS. We ask that any student, staff or faculty member who find something good happening at CHMS, record it on the sticky note and add it to the chart paper. Please be aware of good things happening all week with a special focus on individuals being kind. We will recognize classes and individuals during our town hall assemblies next Friday.
We will be recognizing a new category, “Inclined to Be Kind” at our Town Hall Assembly.
Our “Cool Tool” for this week is Accepting Criticism or a Consequence.
First step, look at the person. Next, say “Okay.” Finally, stay calm.
Students interested in modeling for the grade seven and eight fashion show should sign in on the sign up sheet in the main office. The fashion show will be held immediately following the town hall assemblies on Friday.
Wingman has two announcements for you today…
First of all, HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY!
And secondly, in conjunction with the Ecumenical food bank, they would like to thank City Hill for our kindness in delivering 10 boxes of food for the food bank. This is what kindness is all about...helping others when nobody is looking!
Have a great day ahead!!
Come and join the City Hill Unified Basketball team as they take on North End and West Side in the 3rd annual WINGMAN GAME! Help support Unified Sports and PACK THE STANDS! The game will be played after school on Thursday February 21st and the late bus will be available.
Naugatuck Youth Services is looking for group members for their after school Tuesday leadership program. This 10 week program takes place at City Hill from 2:30-4:00. Interested students can get permission slips in the guidance office.

Important Message from the administrators:
Students who wish to attend home basketball games should ensure they have a ride at 4:45 and demonstrate our ROCKS behavior. We welcome student fans who arrive on time to each class and show respect and cooperation with all faculty and staff. Students who are late for a class or are removed from a class for any reason will not be permitted to attend the basketball game that day. Students, check your schedule carefully this morning to ensure you understand what class you are in period five.
Students, please understand the chromebooks and the gmail accounts are to be used for academic purposes. We continue to have students responding all to emails sent to all NHS and CHMS students. These emails are copied to administration and parents also receive them. While we want everyone to be able to have the privilege of a NPS email and use of a chromebook, those rights will be taken away if we can not properly use them.
