School History

City Hill Middle School proudly serves approximately 700 students in 7th and 8th grade. City Hill first opened its doors in February 1972 with 24 classrooms as the Naugatuck area was rapidly growing as a popular location for families. In 1989, City Hill was expanded to create a new two-story wing with additional classrooms. City Hill celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2022 with a celebration and many former teachers returned to reminisce.
