About Mr. Wilkes
While I was a student in college, I took a job as a camp counselor. It was the hardest job I had ever had, working around the clock with very little time off making little to money and I loved it. I realized then that I enjoyed working with children and helping them build communication skills and overcome obstacles so that they can grow as individuals. I take the same approach to the mathematics classroom as learning "math" is only part of what I want students to accomplish.
